Onionlab presents a journey through five stages of Catalonia’s industrialization: from the textile boom to the introduction of electricity in the region, through the development of the automotive industry, the process of digitization, and the era of Industry 5.0.
This immersive installation takes visitors on a journey through Catalonia’s industrialization across five distinct stages. From the textile boom to the advent of electricity, followed by the evolution of the automotive industry, the digitalization process, and finally, the era of Industry 5.0, marked by both progress and uncertainty.
The immersive cube featured LED screens on all walls and a series of speakers to deliver a fully immersive audio experience. Situated within the bustling environment of the Mobile World Congress, attendees had the opportunity to step into the stand and immerse themselves in the journey presented.
This type of immersive experience offers the unique opportunity to explore a virtual environment without the need for VR headsets. Throughout the experience, we leveraged cutting-edge technologies and art styles, including, particles, point cloud and even artificial intelligence to enhance certain aspects of the visuals. Our collaboration sought to create an experience for visitors, showcasing the intersection of technology, innovation, and storytelling. By seamlessly blending physical and digital elements, we aimed to transport attendees through time and space, leaving a lasting impression on all who experienced it.
